The Vauxhall Corsa specification range
The current range for the Vauxhall Corsa offers a huge number of specifications, with a large variety of both engines and trim levels in the mix.
Significant to potential customers of the Corsa is that the supermini offers a lot of versatility. It is offered in three and five-door bodystyles comes with cheap to run engines and low-cost entry-level models.
The low running costs on offer, mixed with a refined and comfortable drive are other key points which make a Corsa an appealing purchase choice.
Add up all of those qualities and it’s not really surprising that the Vauxhall Corsa is popular in the UK car market. The supermini remains very much in demand and its available right now currently priced from £8,995.
The range recently added a new special edition trim, with the entry level price of fewer than nine grand. This is called ‘Sting’ and it’s available with a choice of three engines. These units include a 1.0-litre petrol, a 1.2-litre VVT petrol and a 1.3-litre CDTi ecoFlex diesel with 74bhp.
Though the Vauxhall Corsa Sting model is the cheapest and basic trim model, it still comes equipped with alloy wheels, a CD/radio player and front electric windows.
Other trim levels in the new Vauxhall Corsa range includes ‘Expression’, which is followed by ‘S’, ‘Design’, ‘SE’, ‘Energy’, ‘SXi’, ‘SRi’, ‘Limited Edition’, ‘Black Edition’, and ‘VXR’.
The Expression trim level, priced from £9,495, is available with one engine choice – the same 64bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine as the Sting model.
Next is the Design trim priced from £10,475, which is also available with the 1.2-litre VVT petrol engine as well as a 99bhp 1.4-litre VVT. Also available is a 1.3-litre CDTi ecoFlex diesel with outputs of 74bhp or 94bhp. The 94bhp diesel is a real highlight in the LINKCorsa range, as it returns CO2 emissions of just 99g/km and a combined fuel economy figure of 85.6mpg.
The 74bhp diesel itself should prove cheap to run giving the Corsa an official combined fuel economy of 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions are recorded at only 110g/km.
These diesel engines are also available on the next trim level, ‘S’, which starts from £11,625. The SXi trim and Limited Edition trims, starting from £13,520 and £14,650 respectively, also offers these low-emitting diesel engines.
Prices for the Corsa range climb up to £18,995 for the sporty VXR model which uses a feisty 189bhp petrol engine.
As you can see the latest Vauxhall Corsa range has plenty to offer to meet all kinds of specific needs for customers in terms of engines and equipment levels.
