Revised Citroen C1 features new trims
The trim levels for the Citroen C1 consist of the 'VT' and the new 'Edition' and 'Platinum' specifications.
Priced from £10,345 the top of the range Citroen C1 Platinum model replaces the 'VTR+' trim level. This version features a new standard specification 'Look Pack', which includes a 'Carlinite Grey' roof with colour-matched rear spoiler and door mirrors.
The new Citroen C1 Platinum trim comes with the option of two body colours, to contrast with the 'Carlinite Grey' roof and exterior trim. The two body colours offered are 'Agrume Red' and 'Lipizzan White'.
Additional features within new C1 Platinum models includes front fog lights, dark tinted rear windows, shiny black interior details and Citroen's Connecting Box (Bluetooth with USV socket).
Replacing the outgoing 'VTR' versions is the new C1 Edition, which features a range of new equipment as standard such as 14-inch alloy wheels and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with matching gearknob.
The new Citroen C1 Edition is available from £9,670 for the three-door version and £10,070 for the five-door variant.
The entry-level Citroen C1 model is the C1 VT, which maintains the same equipment and pricing as before - costing just £8,095.
Standard equipment in the base model includes Electronic Stability Control, aux-in socket for MP3 player, 14-inch wheel covers, stereo radio/CD player, power steering, Emergency Braking Assistance, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and rear Isofix child seats.
Citroen C1 'VT' and 'Edition' models are offered in a choice of six colours, including a range of metallic shades.
The engine line-up remains unchanged, with all Citroen C1 models powered by the efficient three-cylinder, 68bhp 1.0i petrol unit.
The 1.0-litre petrol engine is paired with a new Efficient Tronic Gearbox (ETG) in the five-door 'Platinum' version, replacing the EGS transmission that was previously available.
Fuel economy offered by the revised Citroen C1 ranges from 62.8mpg to a more frugal 65.7mpg, depending on the model chosen. In addition, CO2 emissions range from 104g/km to a more eco-friendly 99g/km.
Thanks to the sub-100g/km CO2 emissions, the majority of the new Citroen C1 model range are exempt from road tax and the London Congestion Charge.
The only model that is not exempt from the above is the range-topping 1.0i 68 ETG five-door Platinum.
