Renault has a taste for The Big Feastival
Renault UK is proving it certainly has a taste for The Big Feastival as it partners with the popular food, music and family festival for the third consecutive year.
The All-New Scénic will be on display in Renault’s ‘Family Zone’ allowing festival-goers to have a good look around the fourth generation of Renault’s new compact MPV before it goes on-sale in the UK later this year. New for 2016 is the ‘Scénic Lounge’, where visitors to the Renault stand are invited to relax on comfortable sofas right in the middle of the festival.
Whilst on the stand, attendees can also recharge their mobile phones at the Renault Z.E. phone charging point, next to the award-winning 100 per cent electric Renault ZOE. The innovative five-door hatchback has zero emissions in use and can charge from zero to 80 per cent full in as little as 30 minutes with an official NEDC range of up to 149 miles.
The Renault Kadjar crossover will also be on display, accompanied by a mini-travellator – a child-sized version of the one used in Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest races – with slide and ball-pit, daring guests to show off their adventurous side. The popular climbing wall makes a return and stands alongside the Renault Captur compact crossover.
All-New Renault Mégane
Virtual test drives of the recently launched All-New Mégane will be available on the stand through Virtual Reality headsets, allowing attendees to take an immersive 360-degree test drive of the new family hatchback around London.
The Big Feastival, based at Alex James’ farm in Oxfordshire, mixes food and music for all tastes. Mark Ronson, Tinie Tempah and the Kaiser Chiefs will be headlining the festival and chefs from all over the culinary world such as Jamie Oliver, Tom Kerridge, Raymond Blanc and Gizzi Erskine will be cooking up a host of feasts and treats over the weekend. New Renault ambassador, DJ BBQ, will be in attendance showing off his unique and innovative Renault Master ‘catertainment’ van to serve up his trademark BBQ dishes to the backdrop of thumping beats.
James Boyer, of Groupe Renault UK and Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to be the automotive partner for the Big Feastival once again. The partnership perfectly suits Renault’s ethos by combining fun and relaxation with innovative ideas for the whole family. We have a few surprises in store for attendees so we look forward to greeting them on the stand throughout the weekend.
The Big Feastival runs from 26 – 28 August 2016.
