Peugeot explains lower Just Add Fuel age range

As young drivers are frequently put in the position of being
priced off the road, they need a place to turn, which is where Peugeot's Just
Add Fuel campaign comes in, says Peugeot.
Peugeot
Just Add Fuel offers a package that compiles all motoring costs into
one monthly payment and Peugeot has recently lowered the eligible age of the
scheme from 25 to 21 years old.
Neil Moscrop, Director of Sales at Peugeot said: "We've
had a great response from customers eligible for the existing Just Add Fuel
scheme, so widening the offer seemed like the natural next step and also a
practical solution to help keep young drivers on the road.
"Just Add Fuel means that drivers can manage their
motoring budget easily for a period of three years, the monthly cost is set and
covers every aspect of car ownership, so fuel is the only element to add."
With the new lowered age of 21 the Just Add Fuel scheme will
be more universally available to younger drivers.
The new lowered age for Just Add Fuel also works hand in
hand with Peugeot's car range as it offers many stylish and cheap to run models
that favour the younger buyer. These include the new Peugeot 107 city
car and the new Peugeot
208.
Younger driver's financial worries on the road are an
on-going problem as finding affordable insurance and other affordable motoring
costs can be tricky. In fact, due to the on-going struggle there was a 12 per
cent drop in car ownership with people aged 17-25 between 2010 and 2011.
Peugeot hopes to get the young car buyer market back on its
feet with its easier to manage Just Add Fuel campaign.
