Ford Outlines Future at Vienna Motor Symposium
At the 37th International Vienna Motor Symposium yesterday, Ford Motor Company discussed how its approaches to innovation and mobility are changing to meet future transportation challenges.

Mobility

Ken Washington, Ford vice president, Research & Advanced Engineering delivered a keynote speech on “Vehicle, Mobility, and Sustainability Strategies of a Global OEM.”

Leader

Ford is becoming both an auto and a mobility company through Ford Smart Mobility – the company’s plan to be a leader in connectivity, mobility, autonomous vehicles, the customer experience and data and analytics. In the keynote, Washington also highlighted research into alternative fuels, and lightweight and renewable materials; as well as FordPass, which aims to do for the auto industry what iTunes did for the music industry.
