Everything You Need to Know About Electric Scooters
Electric transportation is growing rapidly; you'll now notice that every other car on the road is either fully electric or hybrid. The majority of manufacturers are producing electric ranges to insist on the importance of protecting the planet by switching to electric. Not only does electric transportation have a positive impact on the environment, but it also benefits commuters who are becoming increasingly aware of this new technology's impact on them.
About Silence Scooters.
Silence Scooters was first established in Barcelona in 2012 by founder and CEO Carlos Sotelo. He aimed to create an electric vehicle to break existing barriers on infrastructure and price. Research and development showed a market for transportation for delivery companies and business fleets. Over the years, they have produced a range of fully electric scooters, fulfilling all individuals' needs. Silence Scooters are available at Perrys Luton, where we also offer finance across the full range of electric scooters. To find out more about the range we offer, click here.
Benefits of Electric Scooters.
The growth of electric scooters is due to consumers beginning to understand the impacts and benefits of the electric market. Urban areas are where attitudes and regulations towards the market have changed rapidly; commuters want to avoid the cost, traffic, and the harming effects on the environment caused by driving non-electric vehicles.
There are several benefits to owning an electric scooter:
Instant Torque and Power: this allows drivers to pull away quickly, if necessary, with no lag.
A Quieter Ride: Silence scooters allow for a quiet and comfortable ride—no noise from loud exhausts and vibrations from the engine. If you leave early in the morning, you won’t be waking up your whole neighbourhood.
Perfect for City Riding: We all know large cities can be a nightmare to navigate, especially in a car. London is a prime example of getting stuck in traffic, and sometimes it takes an hour to travel one mile. Electric scooters eliminate all these problems allowing you to move through traffic easily and quickly by being smaller and providing the extra power from a standstill.
Reduce Cost: Road tax costs zero for all fully electric vehicles, including scooters. Also, the cost of electricity to charge your scooter is dramatically cheaper than paying for a fuel tank at a petrol station.
Electric scooters provide simplicity, with no manual shift or gears to change, allowing for total concentration on the road ahead.
