Team Spotlight: Motability
Here at Perrys, we pride ourselves on an excellent Motability team across our dealerships, putting you, our customers, first and listening to your requirements.
This month we wanted to inaugurate a column called “Team Spotlight: Motability”, showcasing our talents within the business.
We interviewed Judith Pritchard; a Motability Sales Specialist based at Perrys Vauxhall in Barnsley. Judith has been working for Perrys for over 12 years and won an award in the last quarter thanks to her performance with the Motability department.
See our interview below.
To make this video accessible we have transcribed it below.
Congratulations on winning the Motability Quarterly Award. We were wondering if you could walk us through what are the criteria that you were evaluated on.
I achieved over 94% for the Motability Dealer Performance (MPD) Reward for the whole quarter, and I signed up for the scheme with the greatest number of new customers within the area.
Can you tell us more about yourself? How long have you been working for Perrys?
I’ve worked for Perrys for 12 and a half years always doing the Motability side of it and I enjoy what I do.
What do you enjoy most about the Motability department?
It’s helping people with disabilities choose the right car for them and sometimes getting the right adaptations that they require. I think it’s a rewarding job.
Could you walk us through what a typical day as a Motability Sales Specialist looks like?
At the moment it’s all about chasing the vehicles. I’m waiting for over 195 cars, so there are an awful lot of vehicles that might not be built at the moment. Essentially the typical day involves trying to keep the customers informed, checking in with them every day, dealing with their needs and even going out to their house (I do home visits), helping people choose their pod point, and helping them complete the form for the pod point.
Could you tell us about a rewarding experience you have had with a Perrys customer?
I really enjoy it when a person is happy to take their vehicle and they are pleased with what they’ve chosen. As long as they’re happy then that’s what I try to achieve.
Can you describe in three words what it’s like to work at Perrys?
I think they put People First.
We hope that you’ve enjoyed our interview with Judith Pritchard and are looking forward to our next one. And remember, if you have any Motability-related questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your nearest Perrys by clicking here.
