Big, bold looks and a smart interior make the Grandland a pleasure to cast eyes on. The front end has Vauxhall’s new Vizor styling and LED headlights. Ultimate models get 19” diamond-cut alloys.
Drive
The Grandland is awesome to drive. The plug-in hybrid kicks out 225PS (110PS in Electric mode) and returns up to 192mpg combined with a 39-mile electric range. Also offered is a 1.2 (130PS) Turbo petrol and a 1.5 (130PS) Turbo D diesel.
Practicality
With 514-litres of boot space (petrol & diesel, PHEV models have a 390-litre boot) and a powered hands-free tailgate (Ultimate), the Grandland is great for families. The rear seats split-fold 60-40 and there’s a ski load-through hatch.
Living with it
