The New Grandland offers a choice of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines and a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a 13.2kWh battery and a 35 mile electric range. Useful features like a power tailgate, Advanced Park Assist and a heated windscreen are available as standard, all wrapped up in a sculpted body with a bi-tone roof and alloy wheels up to 19”. SE, SRi, Elite and Ultimate models are available (the hybrid model is only available in SRi and Elite spec). All models have front and rear parking sensors and Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The plug-in hybrid powertrain pairs a 1.6 petrol engine with an electric motor and a 13.2kWh battery pack. It kicks out 222bhp and returns 192mpg combined (WLTP). You can drive on 100% electric power for up to 35-miles.
Prefer petrol or diesel? No problem. The New Grandland is available with a 1.2 turbo petrol engine with 128bhp or a 1.5 diesel engine that also produces 128bhp. The diesel comes as standard with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The New Grandland is available with Night Vision infrared cameras, 180° and 360° panoramic cameras, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, speed sign recognition, high beam assist and advanced park assist.
All models have dual-zone climate control and an electric parking brake. Elite models get wireless charging and the Winter Pack with a heated steering wheel. Ultimate models boast Alcantara upholstery and lane positioning assistant.
