All-New Ford Tourneo Connect

A spacious family car and capable worker all-in-one, the All-New Tourneo Connect is a terrific reinvention of the MPV. Both the 5 and 7-seater are available with a long or short wheelbase, all the rear seats fold flat, and the front passenger seat also folds flat so you can carry longer items. Power comes from a 1.5 EcoBoost or 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine with a 7-speed automatic gearbox available optionally, and those of you who do lots of rural journeys will also appreciate the option of all-wheel drive.
Trim levels include Active, Sport, Titanium and Trend, with Active models wearing an SUV-inspired styling kit and 17” alloys, while Sport models have a sports styling kit with a lower suspension. Inside, Sport and Active models have a 10.25” digital driver’s display and a 10” central display. There are also over 19 driving aids available, including cruise control, blind spot detection, front and rear parking sensors, active park assist, lane-keep assist and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

Exterior

Active models have two-tone 17” alloy wheels, a chunky body kit, a faux skid plate and a higher ride height for the looks of an SUV. Sport models ride lower with a sports styling kit and an aggressive front end. Roof bars and rear privacy glass come as standard across the range, and you can add eye-catching bonnet stripes. The All-New Tourneo Connect is as stylish as it is good to drive, just at home on the school run as it is muddy fields.

Interior

The All-New Tourneo Connects ingenious interior has fold-flat rear seats and a fold-flat front passenger seat. The rear seats can also tumble forward and be removed, giving you a huge load space for cargo. Up front, there’s an 8.25” touchscreen in Trend specification and a 10” system in Titanium, Sport and Active trims. A 10.25” fully digital instrument panel comes as standard in higher trim levels to digitalise your journeys.

Engines include a 1.5 EcoBoost petrol engine (up to 44.8mpg combined) and a 2.0 diesel that returns up to 58.8mpg combined. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, or you can spec a 7-speed automatic gearbox for smooth driving.

All models get autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, cruise control, hill-start assist and front and rear parking sensors. You can also upgrade to adaptive cruise control with lane centring for semi-automated cruising.

The third and second row seats fold flat and are removable, creating up to 2,600-litres of load space in the short wheelbase model and 3,100-litres with a long wheelbase. It’s a great choice for families that need lots of space in a compact body.

Optional with the 122PS diesel engine, the All-New Tourneo Connects all-wheel drive system automatically sends power to the front and rear wheels when it senses slip. It also has an AWD Lock mode to split torque 50-50 between the front and rear axles.
