New Ford Ranger Chassis Cab

Operating in the unique pick-up conversion segment, the New Ford Ranger Chassis Cab is available with over 160 Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) conversions including box vans, tippers, cherry pickers, dropsides, response vehicles and flat beds. It has 4x4 as standard and is powered by a Euro 6.2 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engine with 170hp and 420Nm of torque. It’s built to handle the heaviest conversions with a payload up to 1,252kg a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3,270kg.

Air conditioning, Bluetooth, DAB, a heated windscreen and cruise control are standard features. The New Ranger Chassis Cab also has various advanced assistance systems, including Intelligent Speed Assistance, Lane Keeping Aid and Traffic Sign Recognition. The single cab has space for two people and is separated from the chassis by a mesh or solid bulkhead depending on the conversion. The impressive conversion potential is backed by Ford, with all QVM conversions covered by Ford’s standard warranty.

Spacious and rugged, the New Ranger Chassis Cab’s interior is built for a life of hard work. The steering wheel has buttons for media, assistance systems and driver information, and the driver’s seat has 4-way adjustment. There’s a 3.5” multifunction display for the DAB radio, Bluetooth and media. Everything is well-made and robust, with a central armrest featuring in-built storage and large door bins for snacks on the go.

The New Ranger Chassis Cab is built for hard work, with an uprated suspension with leaf springs and a flat profile for conversions. The 237mm ground clearance gifts it with a wading depth up to 800mm as standard. Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) converters offer a wide range of Ford-approved conversions with a warranty that spans the same length as the Ranger’s standard warranty, ensuring complete peace of mind.

Design

The New Ranger Chassis Cab is a blank canvas for light and heavy conversions, capable of supporting anything from cherry picker machinery to flat beds and dropsides. A handsome profile and comfortable cabin complete the package.

Drive

Powered by Ford’s 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, the New Ranger Chassis Cab kicks out 170hp and 420Nm with a 6-speed manual gearbox. 4x4 comes as standard with a low range mode to improve traction and grip on slippery terrain.
