The Peugeot Rifter gives your family room to grow with a carnivorous boot, five or seven seats and useful features like keyless entry and an opening tailgate window. PureTech 110 and 130 engines are available, or you can specify a BlueHDi 110 or 130 diesel. All have stop & start technology and the option of an automatic gearbox, while driving aids like Blind Spot Monitoring and a 180° camera make driving safer than ever.
The incredible modularity of the Rifter is its key selling point, with removable third row seats and a fold-flat second row. The 5-seat model has a ridiculous 775-litre boot, and with seven seats in place, the 7-seat model still has a 209-litre boot. Allure, Allure Premium and GT trims are available with the modern i-Cockpit featuring a digital head-up driver’s display, an 8” touchscreen and an electric parking brake as standard.

The Rifter is a new breed of leisure activity vehicle, with a higher ground clearance and sportier looks than your average MPV. It marries a boxy body with athletic lines, creating an assertive style that turns heads. LED daytime running lights and roof bars come as standard, with an opening rear tailgate window from Allure. GT models get 17” alloys, gloss black door sill protectors, front and rear scuff plates and gloss black roof bars.
The Peugeot i-Cockpit is a pleasure to spend time in, giving you a commanding view of the road thanks to the Rifter’s high ride height. The compact steering wheel keeps the head-up digital driver’s display in your line of sight, and the 8” touchscreen has voice recognition and Mirror Screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard length GT models feature 3 independent rear seats in the second row with 'Magic Flat' modularity.
The Rifter’s most popular engine is the 1.2L PureTech 130 EAT8 S&S, which returns 43.7 - 36.8mpg combined with lots of punch. For longer journeys, you might prefer the BlueHDi 100 or 130 S&S, which returns 57.4 - 48.0mpg combined.
The Peugeot Rifter’s new 8-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission offers a 5% reduction in fuel consumption versus a manual gearbox. It has flappy paddles for easy shifting and saves precious cabin space with a seamless compact rotary dial.
All versions have cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist, Active Safety Brake, Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation, and rear parking sensors. GT trim adds front and lateral parking sensors, Blind Spot Monitoring and a 180° camera.
Depending on body style, the Rifter offers 775 litres of boot space under the shelf, up to 4,000 litres under ceiling storage, and an additional enclosed space capable of storing up to 186 litres. The two rear seats in 7-seat models are removable.
