The Ford Transit sets the standard at work. Now available as a 5-tonne model, with L2, L3 and L4 body lengths and H2 and H3 roof heights, it offers up to 15.1m3 of load space and a payload up to 2,250kg. It’s also available as a double cab in van, seating up to seven people. A Euro 6.2 compliant 2.0 TDCi EcoBlue engine with up to 185PS and a Hybrid variant of the same engine with up to 170PS ensure low running costs, and front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions are available, unlocking newfound levels of versatility.
You can spec your Transit with Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane-Keeping Aid and Blind Spot Monitoring to semi-automate cruising. Active Park Assist will semi-automate parking and SYNC 3 Navigation with live traffic will adjust your route for efficiency. Trims include Leader, Trend, Trail and Limited. All panel vans have a full-height metal bulkhead while double cabs get a glazed bulkhead. The new 5-Tonne GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) variant brings the greatest payload capacity ever to the Transit Van, letting you efficiently carry a payload of 2,457 kg. This extra strength makes the 5-Tonne an ideal candidate for heavy conversions. Tougher than ever. This new, ultra-strong Transit is ready to work.
