Perrys Kia upgrades customer service
Perrys dealerships in Burnley, Preston and Rotherham will all take advantage of a company restructure which will see a dedicated team created to improve sales and aftersales at the dealerships.
Kia plans to offer more support to the dealerships and offer better customer service in time for the launch of the new Kia Picanto and Kia Rio small cars.
Michael Cole, Managing Director, said: "This brand has undergone dramatic growth over the past few years and with the expected future development we have in mind it is the right time to undertake this restructure."
The move will see Delaer Commercial, Academy and Franchising teams moved into one department designed to work with dealers to get the most out the Kia range of models.
Kia enjoys a 2.63 per cent share of the UK market, a figure that has been the result of steady growth in the past 24 months thanks to a range of higher quality, attractively designed cars.
In total four Kia cars, including the new Sportage, have been awarded prestigious red dot design awards for their stylish exteriors. The result is down to ex-Audi designer Peter Schreyer, whose team designed the ‘tiger face’ grille present on all new Kia cars.
The success of the company and restructuring should create more jobs at Kia despite the economic conditions, says Cole.
"And I am happy that when the economy generally is still uncertain we are in a position where we will be able to create new opportunities for our existing people and create new roles that will allow us to bring in new people," he explained.
