Perrys chairman Ken Savage third in Lotus Cup race
This month the Perrys chairman Ken Savage achieved an overall third place finish in the highly competitive Lotus Cup UK Race at the Brands Hatch circuit.

Ken (seen right in the picture above) qualified and finished the race first in the Lotus 211 class which he entered.

After a poor start and losing several places, Ken quickly began retaking places up the grid until he caught Jamie Stanley in his Lotus Exige. Ken was clearly quicker but the very experienced Jamie managed to keep Ken at bay, after several overtaking attempts, Ken managed to draw level with Jamie at Paddock Hill but his overtake was not completed until the exit of Graham Hill bend.

By the time Ken passed Jamie the leading pair were well down the road and Ken was unable to catch them. Nevertheless Ken took a highly commendable and hard-earned spot on the podium.
