Nissan e-NV200 pricing confirmed

Nissan has announced the full UK pricing and specification line-up for the e-NV200, the manufacturer’s first fully-electric van for the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market. It will start from just £13,393, after taking into account a Government Plug-In grant worth over £4,000.

Nissan e-NV200 started production

The e-NV200, which recently started production at Nissan’s plant in Barcelona, offers the same all-round capability and versatility of the standard Nissan NV200. The key difference of course is it driven powered by an electric motor, rather than any petrol or diesel engine, resulting in zero CO2 emissions and overall very cheap running and maintenance costs.

The exceptional savings in running costs compared to a conventional diesel van makes the e-NV200 an irresistible proposition for business both big and small.

On sale from this July, the Nissan e-NV200 comes in both panel van and five-seater combi forms. Two distinct trim levels are also available called ‘Acenta’ and ‘Tekna’.

Battery options

When choosing to buy a new Nissan e-NV200, customers can opt to either lease the battery separately or buy the battery outright along with the van. The leasing battery deal is called ‘Flex’ by Nissan. Whatever deal customers choose regarding the battery, the e-NV200 qualifies for a Government Plug-In grant, worth up to £8,000 for the panel van specification or £5,000 for the five-seater combi.

By choosing to buy the battery the price of the basic trim e-NV200 panel van starts at £16,562.20, after the Government’s Plug-In grant takes effect.

The combi version of the e-NV200 is priced from £17,855 with a leased battery, or £22,859 with the battery bought outright.

The Tekna trim is better equipped compared to Acenta and pricing for this starts at £15,733 for the e-NV200 panel van, or £20,639 for the combi version.

Depending on the chosen length and yearly mileage for the contract, the cost of leasing the e-NV200’s battery per month can range between £61 and £106.

Higher up the range, motorists can choose a Nissan e-NV200 panel van or combi with a rapid charger or an even faster 6.6kW charger onboard. These particular models are known as Rapid and Rapid Plus respectively.

Nissan e-NV200 equipment

Standard equipment for the Nissan e-NV200 panel van includes electric door mirrors, a rear view camera and a CD/radio player with MP3 and iPod compatibility

The five-seater combi comes standard with air conditioning, green tinted glass for the second row of seats, plus the same features mentioned for the van derivative.

Across the Nissan e-NV200 line-up there are several optional features available such as a satellite navigation system for £500. For £130 customers can also add a ‘Cold pack’ which includes heated front seats, heated steering wheel and heated door mirrors.
