Mazda Perrys Blackburn raises charity money at special event
The event took place on 17 May and with around 70 people attending, the charity event raised £682.52 for Help for Heroes through ticket sales, donations and raffles.
The event consisted of a fashion show, a range of company stalls, speeches and even a preview of the brand new Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV.
Mazda's new CX-5 crossover is at the forefront of Mazda's new Skyactiv technology, which uses both fuel-efficient engines and lightweight materials to reduce CO2 emissions.
The technology will soon be available across Mazda's range, but the new Mazda CX-5 is the first to fully incorporate Skyactiv technology into its design.
With the use of Skyactiv technology, the Mazda CX-5 offers sub 120g/km with a frugal 2.2-litre diesel engine. Although the CX-5 has low CO2 emissions, it doesn't lack equipment as it features four different trim levels: SE-L, SE-L Nav, Sport and Sport Nav.
Entry level features of the CX-5 include 17-inch alloy wheels, climate control, privacy glass and front and rear parking sensors.
Other stalls at the charity event included a Pimms tent, wine tasting and soap and sugar craft stall.
The new Mazda CX-5 is set to be released in summer 2012 with prices starting from £21,395 on the road.
