Kia Venga added to Driving School Programme
The Venga MPV is the latest model to be used in the package designed for professional driving instructors, joining the Picanto, Rio, C'eed, Pro_C'eed and Soul in the range.
Kia will offer the five-door Venga to driving instructors an instruction vehicle. The supermini-sized MPV is cheaper than standard Venga models by £750 as part of the Driving School Programme discount.
Kia launched the programme in 2009 in order to offer a full package for professional driving schools. The programme includes a discount of £250 on the Picanto supermini and up to £750 off the price of the other models, including the new Kia Soul urban crossover.
The deal also includes a year's free insurance, dual controls, metallic paint, discount fuel card, and an optional 'Plug & Play' speedometer.
The Kia Venga is offered in 1, 2 and 3 trim levels, and a choice of 1.4 or 1.6-litre petrol engines. A diesel 1.4 CRDi is also offered in all three specifications.
As with all Kia models, the Venga is also available with the industry-leading seven year Kia warranty, and Tony Bedford of AB Driving School in Leeds believes it was this which attracted him to the scheme.
He said: "We moved to Kia in 2009 after experiencing reliability issues with a couple of other brands. Having a vehicle off the road is a serious issue for us and our customers so Kia's product reliability was particularly appealing.
