Dacia Duster Black Edition launched
The Dacia Duster, an incredibly cheap SUV model, has taken the UK by storm since the first examples arrived to showrooms at the start of this year. So far in the year to date the Duster has picked up over 4,000 orders from UK customers.
The Duster Black Edition made its first public appearance earlier this month at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now the dark and tough-looking SUV is available to order now from £17,575.
Dacia decided to put the Black Edition on sale due to the large amount of interest it garnered from the public at Goodwood.
The Black Edition is based on the Duster in the Ambiance trim level and with the 110bhp 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine.
It features a large amount of extra equipment inside. The most noticeable update of course is the brushed black vinyl wrap finish, matched with striking 18-inch alloy wheels and a luxurious ash leather interior.
Other features include a media system with a 6-inch high resolution screen, satellite navigation, Bluetooth and a DAB radio. The Duster Black Edition also includes iPod connectivity, DVD playback and rear USB connection.
The UK marketing director for Dacia, Phil York, commented: "The Dacia Duster Black Edition is a mean, more upmarket version of what is already a great selling vehicle. I challenge anybody to drive home such a great looking SUV, with or without 4x4, with so much kit for anywhere near the money."
First deliveries of the Dacia Duster Black Edition will begin from October 2013.
The standard Dacia Duster range is still available for test drives and purchasing now at Perrys Dacia Dealership in Aylesbury. Prices for the Duster currently start at £8,995.
