Citroen C3 Picasso Gets 2,000 Pounds Off

Citroen's discount not only means that motorists can save a considerable chunk of money on the C3 Picasso, but it's now also considerably cheaper then fellow mini-MPV rivals. This includes highly-rated models such as the £12,995 Ford B-MAX or the £14,995 Fiat 500L.

The incredibly low starting price of £10,995 applies to the Citroen C3 Picasso in its basic VTi 95 manual 'VT' specification.

The £2,000 discount applies to all new Citroen C3 Picasso models, which means the range-topping model, the 1.6 HDi 115 'Exclusive', is also highly affordable at £15,865.

Citroen gave the C3 Picasso range a major refresh just over a year ago, keeping the car modern and appealing to the current family car audience. The C3 Picasso offers a spacious five-seater cabin with boot space measured at 385 litres minimum. Owners can slide the rear seats forward to increase boot space to an impressive 500 litres. The Citroen C3 Picasso also offers a four-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The C3 Picasso range features three trim levels in total, starting with 'VT' and followed with 'VTR+' and 'Exclusive'.

The engine line-up for the C3 Picasso features a basic 1.4-litre VTi petrol with 94bhp. There's also a 1.6-litre VTi with an output of 118bhp. Also available is a 1.6-litre HDi diesel with two outputs of either 89bhp or 113bhp.

The Citroen C3 Picasso can return impressive emission and economy figures. The 1.4-litre VTi for instance returns a 42.8mpg combined fuel economy figure with the VT trim, or 44.1mpg for higher trim levels. The CO2 output with this engine meanwhile is 153g/km or 149g/km for VTR+ or Exclusive trim versions.

With the 89bhp HDi diesel, the mini-MPV delivers a combined fuel economy of 62.8mpg alongside emissions of 108g/km of CO2.

Standard equipment for the latest C3 Picasso range includes a CD/radio player, child seat anchor and electric front windows.

Step up to the VTR+ trim and the Picasso also features air conditioning, alloy wheels and side airbags. The Exclusive trim model includes body coloured bumpers and heated mirrors as additional standard features.

The C3 Picasso can be specified to include Citroen's eMyWay satellite navigation system, including an audio jack plug, USB sockets and a Bluetooth hands-free kit. Fog lamps and static cornering lights can also be included, alongside an electrochrome interior rear-view mirror.
