Cheapest road tax-free used cars

A key area which has a large bearing on just how much you pay for running a used car in the long term is the Vehicle Excise Duty, also known as Road Tax.

How much Road Tax a motorist pays for their car is determined by its CO2 emissions output. A car’s Road Tax can cost anyway between £20 and £490 annually depending on where the CO2 output falls on the rates table.

However, if a car emits only up to 100g/km in CO2 then the owner will not be required to pay Road Tax in either the first year of ownership, or any following year either.

A used car that is Road Tax-free is highly tempting therefore, as it can save a lot of cash during ownership. At Perrys Dealerships you can find many great offers now on cheap, quality used cars which also return free Road Tax.

Here is our guide to the cheapest Road Tax-free used models available from us at the moment.
