VW model 'combines performance with economy'
Motorists looking for a car that combines excellent performance with low running costs may want to make a trip to their local Volkswagen dealership, the manufacturer has suggested.It claimed the new diesel Scirocco GT can help drivers save money at the pump as well as providing an exciting ride.
The car offers fuel economy of 53.3 mpg on the combined cycle.
Meanwhile, it can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 138 mph.
In terms of its impact on the environment, the model boasts CO2 emissions of 139 g/km.
The car is available to order immediately and includes a range of standard equipment such as rain and dusk sensor, six CD autochanger, air conditioning and multifunction computer.
Alternatively, the Volkswagen Golf GTI will be available to UK customers from May 22nd.
Currently, drivers can try out the model via an online game.
