Volkswagen website rates dealers
People buying Volkswagen vehicles should find the company's updated website ensures they make the right purchasing decision, it has been claimed.Recent additions to the site include a rating system for dealers, which will provide customers with a feedback score showing the percentage of individuals who recommend a particular retailer.
Marianne Nicholas from Volkswagen said: "We thought long and hard about publicising these scores on the website, but decided it was the right thing to do."
She stated the company felt it was important to give customers a choice based on information garnered from other buyers' experiences.
Another facility the revamped website offers is the ability for customers to book a test drive.
Ms Nicholas said Volkswagen was proud of the site and had received positive feedback from users.
Earlier this month, the manufacturer announced a number of revisions to the Phaeton luxury saloon which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
