Economic downturn 'is not bad news for everyone'
Motorists have been urged to take advantage of the economic downturn by paying a visit to their nearest Volkswagen dealership.The manufacturer pointed out the current financial difficulties being experienced by the automotive industry could be good new for some drivers.
It explained those people with secure jobs who have seen their mortgage payments fall may have extra spare cash at the moment, adding there has never been a better time to secure a great deal on a brand new car.
The company stated buyers can drive away in the latest Golf for £199 a month.
Graham Wheeler, head of Volkswagen Financial Services, commented: "As long as customers are sensible in managing their finances, there's no reason why they should fear making a big purchase in what are seen as troubled times."
In related news, the carmaker recently stated the new fifth-generation Polo is smarter, cleaner and lighter than previous editions of the model.
