Vauxhall Zafira sales 'booming'
The Vauxhall Zafira MPV is a popular choice in the UK market, the German automobile manufacturer has claimed.In 2007, sales of the vehicle reached 47,813, beating all three MPVs on the market from a key rival.
Vauxhall adds that demand for the Zafira saw it take 27.7 per cent of the compact monocab sector in 2007 and is celebrating its success with a new trim level and upgraded equipment.
The changes come with the introduction of new 2008 number plates, which mean the vehicle has a fresh new look for the coming car year.
"With some styling changes, a new trim level and equipment upgrades, the class-leading Vauxhall Zafira looks set to further increase its popularity in the UK market," the firm states.
For nostalgic motor fans, Vauxhall is to open the Vauxhall Heritage Centre in April.
The company will be showing off more than 50 classic vehicles from the firm on Sunday April 20th, reports Crash.net.
