Vauxhall launches fuel-efficient Insignia ecoFLEX Sports Tourer
Vauxhall has announced the launch of an ecoFLEX version of its Insignia Sports Tourer.The manufacturer claims the new edition of the estate will provide owners with significantly lower running costs.
It comes with a host of aerodynamic changes from the standard Insignia Sports Tourer, which means it is able to deliver improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
The ecoFLEX model's 2.0-litre CDTi diesel engine has a combined fuel consumption figure of 53.7 mpg, together with emissions of just 139g/km.
A base Insignia ecoFLEX Sports Tourer Exclusiv model is available from £21,515 on the road, while a top-of-the-range Elite Nav costs £27,750.
Meanwhile, Vauxhall has announced it will unveil its new more fuel efficient and lower polluting Astra at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show.
The British-built car will come with a wide range of engines, including three diesels which will have CO2 emissions below 129g/km and a new 1.4-litre turbo petrol model.
