Vauxhall deal may tempt cash-strapped van drivers

Van drivers keen to replace their current vehicle may want to pay a visit to their local Vauxhall dealership.

The manufacturer has announced it is offering a You Pay, We Pay deal from now until April 2nd.

It explained participants could end up driving away with a cheque for five per cent of the total amount financed and a brand new van.

The company stated customers will not be required to pay interest for four years.

Commenting on the offer, national commercial vehicle sales manager Richard Collier said: "In a market flooded with the same old deals, You Pay, We Pay is a genuinely fresh approach."

In order to be eligible, customers need to put down at least a 20 per cent deposit.

Last month, Vauxhall announced Aston Villa Football Club was a fan of its vans.

It said eight of its vehicles are currently in use at the stadium and trading ground.
