Vauxhall relaunches 3-day tests

	Motor manufacturer Vauxhall has announced the relaunch of its popular Three Day Test Drive scheme. The 72-hour programme is the world's biggest car trial scheme and the company claims that three-quarters (72 per cent) of drivers were more positive as a result of last year's initiative. Taking place from April 1st and running for three months in the UK, the Vauxhall Three Day Test Drive allows drivers to take the Vauxhall Corsa, Meriva, Tigra, Astra, Astra Sport Hatch, Zafira or Vectra for a 72-hour test drive. More than 50,000 drivers in Britain are expected to take part in the Three Day Test Drive, up from 48,000 people in 2005. Drivers taking part in the Three Day Test Drive must have a valid credit card and driving licence and be over the age of 25. Vauxhall stresses that motorists taking a vehicle for a three day test drive can find out the answers to key questions such as 'Will the baby’s pushchair go in the boot?' and 'Does the engine perform well on the roads I use every day?'. Vauxhall marketing director, Andy Gilson, said: "We are truly confident in our range of cars, and want people to experience them in everyday situations… We want drivers to see how one of our models will fit into their lives."
