Corsa named top supermini
People considering buying a Vauxhall car may be convinced to opt for a Corsa, after the model came out on top in a recent survey.The Road Test Reports poll to find the UK's favourite supermini saw the vehicle scoop 35 per cent of the vote.
Meanwhile, the Honda Jazz secured second place and the Ford Fiesta third spot.
The website admitted the results had not come as much of a surprise.
It pointed out the model topped the supermini sales chart last year, with figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showing some 99,574 units had been shifted.
Commenting on the three top models, Road Test Reports spokeswoman Faye Sunderland stated: "It bodes well for Vauxhall, Honda and Ford to see that people don't just buy these cars but … that they are [also] satisfied with their purchase."
In other news, Labour MP Andrew Miller recently voiced support for the work being carried out at Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port manufacturing plant.
