Vauxhall's Zafira VXR gets sporty

	Vauxhall latest Zafira reincarnation, the VXR, has taken the speedy MPV to a new stage of practicality and performance. The sporty and trendy VXR has been updated with big alloys, part-leather sports seats and strong-looking spoilers to advance the Zafira's GSi model into an even more exciting version. The VXR is even quicker than the GSi, hitting 60mph from zero in just 7.2 seconds, and offering a 144mph top speed. Its 2.0-litre turbo-charged engine offers a surge of power to the driver for surprisingly quick acceleration in a big car. The seven-seater also handles extremely well, with nicely weighted steering and punchy suspension allowing the MPV to drive over even the most worrying of road surfaces without the worry of the kids spilling their drinks in the back. Cornering is also a breeze with the VXR's electronically controlled dampers, which create the feeling of a sporty supermini around tight bends. For the sporty, funky family with a driver who likes to get the most of out their vehicle, the VXR is certainly one of the best choice MPVs on the road, excelling even its predecessor the nippy GSi.
