Brits 'full of praise for their motors'

The majority of British motorists love their cars, it has been claimed.

RoadTestReports.co.uk analysed the 3,000 customer feedback comments posted on its website and found 70 per cent of drivers are happy with the current vehicle.

Spokeswoman Faye Sunderland stated: "It is testament to the love affair Brits have with their cars that so many leave very positive reviews."

Of the 3,000 people who rated their motors, 70 per cent awarded their autos either four or maximum five-star scores.

In comparison, 12 per cent gave their autos three-star marks and 18 per cent wrote one or two-star reviews.

Some of the comments contributors to the website made, included a note from Nigel who owns a Vauxhall Signum.

He described his car as a "tardis" and the vehicle's engine as a "wolf in sheep's clothing".

Meanwhile, previous research by RoadTestReports named the Vauxhall Corsa as the most popular supermini in the UK.
