Vauxhall Corsa VXR gets styling makeover
Vauxhall's VXR racing team was the inspiration behind a new styling kit designed to give Corsa hatchback drivers the chance to add some extra flair to their cars.Owners of both the three and five-door Corsa can emulate the look of the racing cars by fitting the kit, comprising spoilers for the lower front and rear roof, side sills and a rear lower skirt.
The Vauxhall aftersales team is offering the kit to drivers for £1,249, which includes the fitting.
Corsa drivers who do not want the full racing car getup can also have the rear roof spoiler fitted on its own for £269.
For the driver who wants to go the extra mile, Vauxhall has also introduced a new range of Irmscher alloy wheels to complete the look.
The new Corsa has been named Car of the Year for 2007 by What Car?, which gave the vehicle four out of a possible five stars.
Starting from the basic Corsa Expression with a recommended retail price of £7,495, drivers can choose from a variety of designs in the range, with a number of additions and accessories coming as optional extras.
