Vauxhall celebrates sales figures
Vauxhall's officials have been celebrating the release of July's UK new car sales figures, after the company kept hold of its position as the most popular brand with the country's motorists.The Luton-based manufacturer sold 26,720 new cars during the month to ensure top spot in the overall best-sellers table for a second consecutive month.
Market statistics showed that four of the country's eight most popular models in July were made by Vauxhall, with the Astra, Corsa, Zafira and Vectra all attracting both fleet buyers and family motorists.
Vauxhall's managing director Bill Parfitt attributed his organisation's success to having a "genuinely desirable product range".
He added: "With new Corsa doing so well and exciting new niche models such as Antara and Astra Twin Top added to our portfolio, we are seeing some very exciting results."
Vauxhall recently announced that Irmscher Softstar and Gamma 14-inch and Stila 15-inch alloy wheel sets for the new Corsa Expression, Life and Club models are available at a discount price until the end of September.
