Vauxhall car deal 'fantastic for cheap motoring'
Customers looking for a cheap car deal may want to head to a Vauxhall showroom, after details were announced of new measures designed to help buyers cut costs.The manufacturer claims it will allow people to save £4,260 by registering a motor before the end of 2009.
Specifically, it will match the 15 per cent cost of the new VAT tax, which may interest those on a budget.
The carmaker's retail sales director Rory Harvey said: "This initiative will save motorists thousands … more than enough to cover the extra cost of the VAT on the rest of their daily purchases throughout the New Year and still leave them with cash to spare!"
Additionally, the offer - available at participating retailers - runs until November 30th.
One motor that drivers could consider is the upcoming Corsa ecoFLEX, which the company recently announced will emit 98 grams per kilometre of carbon emissions.
