Vauxhall Corsa VXR details unveiled
Vauxhall has announced details of its new Corsa model in preparation for the UK launch date.Scheduled to make its first public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in early March, the Corsa VXR is expected to arrive in Vauxhall car dealerships across the UK in the middle of the month.
And the British-based automaker has highlighted the distinctive exterior features that it is hoped will set apart this Vauxhall car from others in the supermini market.
In particular, it has pointed out the mesh front grille, the optional 18-ins alloy wheels and the bold triangular theme that runs throughout the design of the wing mirrors, foglamps and tailpipe.
Beyond aesthetic attractions, the model also boasts a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, which the automaker claims can accelerate to 60 mph from a standing start in a nippy 6.8 seconds.
And it can apparently hit an overall top speed of 140 mph.
The first Corsa was launched in 1983 and has appeared in Vauxhall car dealerships up and down the UK ever since.
