Vauxhall Astra interior 'offers premium quality'
The interior of the upcoming Vauxhall Astra marks a significant move towards premium quality and design in Britain's compact sector, it has been claimed.According to the manufacturer, ambient lighting serves to highlight the luxurious feel of the cabin, with illumination being provided above the centre console and inside door handle recesses.
The company said it had paid particular attention to designing the car's seats.
It pointed out their height can now be increased by as much as 65 mm.
Meanwhile, motorists purchasing an Elite model will benefit from Ergonomic Sports Seats, which offer four-way lumbar support and improved tilt adjustment.
The vehicle is due to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and is scheduled to arrive in Vauxhall dealerships up and down the UK before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer's annual art car boot fair took place last weekend at the Old Truman Brewery in London.
