New Vauxhall Astra Panoramic SRi draws plaudits
Motorists on the look out for a panoramic driving experience might want to check out the new Vauxhall Astra SRi as the latest feature addition is already drawing praise.Costing only an extra £850, a car from the new Astra Sports hatch range includes a 1.8 sq metre windscreen, specifically designed to give driver and passengers an unimpeded view of his or her surroundings.
With the newly designed window one can enjoy the feeling of owning a convertible, without having to worry about getting wet, reports Auto Express.
"Engineers at Vauxhall have clearly put a lot of thought into making the new screen work, because there's no increase in wind or road noise compared to conventional glass," the car magazine states.
According to Channel 4, Vauxhall has already received as many as 73,600 orders for its yet-to-be-released Corsa supermini.
