Brands Hatch event could inspire motorists to visit Vauxhall dealerships
The final round of the 2009 British Touring Car Championship could inspire some motorsport fans to pay a visit to their local Vauxhall dealership.Due to take place at Brands Hatch, the event's finale will feature the first appearance of the manufacturer's new Astra at a public UK gathering.
As well as the sixth-generation edition of this model, Vauxhall will also be displaying some of its other road autos.
In addition, some of the manufacturer's old racing cars will be exhibited too.
According to the company, the new Astra really stands out in the compact class.
It explained the model boasts advanced technology - such as its FlexRide adaptive damping system - which is rarely found on autos in this category.
The vehicle is available to order from Vauxhall car dealerships immediately and first deliveries are scheduled for December.
Prices for the Astra - which was unveiled at last month's Frankfurt International Motor Show - range from £15,675 to £23,695.
