Vauxhall Astra TwinTop Exclusiv Black targets summer convertible market
Vauxhall has announced that it is introducing a new special-edition convertible in time for motorists to soak up the summer sunshine.The new Vauxhall Astra TwinTop Exclusiv Black adds a range of luxury features such as heated seats, 18-ins alloys, cruise control and black leather trim to the specifications of the top-end Design trim.
In spite of these additional features, the British-based automaker has confirmed that the model will cost up to £470 less than the Design level.
With an entry-level price tag of £18,725, some motoring commentators suspect that the model will prove particularly popular among drivers looking for a convertible on a budget as the days get longer.
Meanwhile, Vauxhall is also offering touring car fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a VX Racing vehicle later this year.
Throughout July 2007, the company is providing the opportunity for motorists to test-rive the Corsa VXR at race courses across the country for a one-off payment of £95.
