Two new Mazda models to be unveiled in Geneva
Mazda has announced it is to unveil two new models at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show.The manufacturer revealed visitors will be able to view the Mazda3 with i-stop and the all-new Mazda3 MPS.
According to the company, the first features an advanced start-stop system which will help drivers save fuel and the second builds on the qualities of its predecessor.
It pointed out the Mazda3 with i-stop uses 12 per cent less fuel than the current European version of the model.
Meanwhile, the firm said the Mazda MPS offers "exhilarating performance".
Spokesperson Yoshiyuki Maeda commented: "These two models add extra value to an all-new Mazda3 line-up that has already shown strong appeal."
He added the cars make significant steps forward in terms of driving experience and environmental technology.
Earlier this year, the manufacturer announced the first-generation Mazda3 had driven away with 90 awards since its launch in 2003.
