Red alert as Vauxhall springs new Tigra on the UK
With spring now officially underway, Vauxhall has moved to get motorists in the mood by announcing a new special-edition version of the sporty Tigra.Like other models in the range, the Tigra Exclusiv Red incorporates a retractable hard top roof that can be raised in 20 seconds flat to help motorists enjoy the sunshine without getting drenched by the rain.
However, unlike standard models, this special-edition includes £1,350 worth of extras for free.
As suggested by the name, red decor features prominently on the revamped model, with scarlet leather seats, door trim inserts and gear lever case.
In addition, buyers will also be able to show off specially-designed 17-ins alloy wheels to their friends.
The British-based automaker, owned by American automotive giant General Motors, has invested in a national billboard advertising campaign to promote the image-conscious design of the Tigra.
Accompanying an image of a sporty red Tigra is the tagline: "Every street's a Catwalk".
