Mitsubishi lifts lid on new Concept-RA
Motor manufacturer Mitsubishi has revealed its new Concept-RA vehicle at the North American Motor Show in Detroit.The new car incorporates diesel engine technology which the firm claims gives the unit "exciting driving manners" and fuses different types of environmentally-friendly motoring solutions.
"[It] utilises a new catalytic converter system that brings together diesel oxidation catalyst , NOx trap catalyst and diesel particulate filter technologies," the automobile manufacturing company commented.
Mitsubishi also remarked that the model is also representative of its "passion for dynamic driving", espousing its high carbon efficiency in addition.
The Concept-RA car has been put together with a lighter aluminium space frame and comes with the same Twin Clutch SST transmission as was last seen in the Lancer Evolution X car.
Mitsubishi translates into Japanese as great samurai warrior and three diamonds.
The company's logo, featuring a triumvate of rhombuses, represents this.
