Mini Coupe Concept 'combines old and new'
Mini dealerships looking forward to the day they can stock the latest model in the range may want to inform customers about its design.According to the manufacturer, the Coupe Concept – which is due to be unveiled at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show – combines the brand's traditional values with advanced technology.
It is aimed at being agile and dynamic, with two seats and a compact shape together with a lightweight structure.
These features, Mini stated, are the hallmarks of a true sports car.
Inside, sports seats and a three-spoke leather steering wheel add to the athletic look of the motor, although there will be room for 250 litres of capacity in the boot.
A 1.6-litre twin scroll turbocharged engine equipped with 211 horsepower will be under the bonnet.
"Mini's revered handling dynamics will be a highlight of the Mini Coupe Concept," the company concluded.
The Frankfurt Motor Show is also due to see manufacturers such as Vauxhall and Hyundai show off their latest creations.
