Convertible details revealed by Rolls-Royce

The new Phantom Drophead Coupe from Rolls-Royce has been unveiled by the company in conjunction with their official importer in Qatar.

Rolls-Royce Motor Car Doha was on hand to show off the new vehicle, giving the event a true international flavour as the car was developed in the UK.

Teak decking and a stainless steel bonnet give the vehicle a feel similar to a yacht - fitting seeing as it comes from the Goodwood factory on the south coast.

According to the firm's Middle East director Peter Schopomann, consumers are already queuing up to drive the car out of Rolls-Royce dealerships.

"We have seen exceptional customer interest in the Phantom Drophead Coupé around the world and are pleased to show the car for the first time in this region," he commented.

The Goodwood factory features one a 22,500 sq m living roof, which contains tens of thousands of sedum plants.

One of the biggest of its kind in Europe, the structure changes colour with the seasons.
