Audi A5 gets turbo boost as FSI engine is added
Audi will be employing turbo engine technology in its latest revision to the A5.From November, when deliveries to dealerships commence, consumers will be able to pick up the Audi A5 1.8 TFSI.
The vehicle has a six-speed manual transmission which allows drivers to reach 62 mph in 8.4 seconds from a stationary position.
According to the car manufacturer, the model marks a natural progression for the range.
"The advanced, directly injected successor to the familiar 1.8-litre Turbo petrol unit that has powered A3, A4, A6 and TT models in the past creates the A5 1.8 TFSI, which is available to order now," Audi commented.
Premier League champions Manchester United are sponsored by Audi.
Its deals with the club includes a promotion whereby the drivers of Audi vehicles are allowed free matchday parking at Old Trafford, saving them from heading to the game on buses or trams.
