Winter checks offered to Seat motorists
Motorists driving Seat cars this winter are being given the opportunity to make sure their vehicle is in top condition for the season. They are being offered a Seasonal Safety Check "for a reasonable price", which checks brakes and battery in addition to a 32-point visual assessment.
Furthermore, those who choose to take their car in for the check-up also get a free wash and vacuum and a bottle of oil worth £10.
According to Seat UK parts and service planning manager Colin Dick, the tests are a worthwhile way of making sure a vehicle can survive the winter.
He said: "By acting now and having these simple checks carried out, drivers will give themselves a greater chance of enjoying a hassle- and incident-free season on the roads."
This comes as Sergeant John Roberts from West Mercia Police has commented that it is "essential" to assess vehicles over winter, the Evesham Journal reports.
