Uefa deal could boost visits to Seat dealerships

A new deal with Uefa could encourage more motorists into Seat car dealerships around the world, the manufacturer has suggested.

It expressed delight at the agreement, which sees the company become the exclusive presenting sponsor of the governing body's Europa League.

According to Seat, the move will mean it gains high levels of exposure at hundreds of football matches a season.

The deal will last until the end of the 2011-2012 competition.

Head of marketing, Steve Robertson, said the agreement builds on existing contracts with the Scottish FA, Aston Villa and Stoke City.

He stated: "Sponsoring the Uefa Europa League is a great way to increase awareness of Seat with our target audience."

The 48 clubs taking part in this year's competition include Everton, Fulham and Celtic.

In other news, Seat recently announced it is planning to unveil three new additions to its environmentally-friendly Ecomotive range at next week's Frankfurt International Motor Show.
