Seat unveils new Ibiza supermini
Spanish automobile manufacturer Seat has taken the wraps off its new Ibiza five-door supermini.The look of the vehicle has been designed by former Lamborghini stylist Luc Donkerwolke and is longer than the current model by eight centimetres.
It also features a new seven-speed DSG gearbox, available in automatic or sequential manual, as well as front fog lights and side illumination.
Head of Seat UK Peter Wyhinny remarked that the model is representative of the automaker's ability to combine serious motoring with state-of-the-art technology.
"With the debut of this distinctive and clearly design-led five-door we are embarking on a major development of the Seat range, with plenty more to come in the months ahead," said the official.
Seat is a subsidiary of the German automobile manufacturing group Volkswagen, although it was originally founded by the Instituto Nacional de Industria in association with Fiat in 1950.
