Seat Toledo Sport details announced

Motorists looking for a sporty hatchback have been put on alert after Seat confirmed details for the new Toledo Sport.

The model - available in the UK's Seat car dealerships with an on-the road price tag of £18,995 - can reportedly hit a top speed of 125 mph and accelerate from a standing start to 62 mph in under ten seconds.

Moreover, the diesel engine also offers 47.1 miles per gallon, which may be of interest to motorists on a budget.

Inside the cabin, the hatchback comes equipped with a host of luxury design specifications - leather upholstery sits alongside dinted windows, front and back electric windows and heated front seats.

On a more practical side, the Toledo Sport also boasts dual-zone climate control and an integrated Bluetooth hands-free connection.

The latter feature may prove particularly useful in the light of a recent change in the law.

Since February 27th 2007, motorists who use a mobile handset while behind the wheel will be punished with a £60 fine and three penalty points on their licence.
