Seat Leon's DSG recommended in automotive review
The paddle shift set-up of the new Seat Leon FR TFSI direct-shift gearbox (DSG) vehicle has found itself singled out for praise, car buyers may be interested to know.In a review for motoring magazine Auto Express, car journalist Ross Pinnock noted that the addition of a DSG cuts 0.1 seconds off the vehicle's acceleration time - it now hits 62 mph from a standstill in 7.2 seconds.
And Mr Pinnock also highlighted how easy the new transmission is to use by arguing that the system "couldn't be easier to operate".
More generally, the new Leon model is more than capable of challenging rivals in the performance-oriented family car segment, he contended.
"The handsome five-door Leon has the looks, performance and price to make it a real threat to its illustrious competitors," he said.
In addition to the Leon, Seat car dealerships across the UK currently offer a range of other motors such as the Altea, the Cordoba, the Ibiza and the Toledo.
